Im on about my 10th comp now so Im wondering if its not just my truck. Edge sent me a new comp a couple of weeks ago because of problems with the old one. (freezeing,boost fooler not working and reseting itself) Well everything is fine other than the overboost code . I replaced the box and wireing harness with the new ones so I think it may be the truck not edge. I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems or has any idea what to do now?

MAD ECM.

If it is a problem with the truck, that's most likely where it lies.

Two birds with one stone, A new ECM, and the way it should been programmed in the first place.

Then when you toss the Comp, make sure I am between you and your trash can

I have got an xtra comp here if you really want one.(cheap,cheap)

 

If I didn't have to keep dipping into my tranny fund I'd jump on it.

The more I think about things, I'm shying away from the Comp and leaning more towards the MAD.
I think it'll be easier on the VP44 than a Comp is.

Yes, if you are willing to sell the comp, lets start wheelin' and dealin'. I would be more than happy to relieve you of the burden of one of your comp boxes.

On the subject of the ECM and comp box. Can you use the comp and MAD ECM together or are they better as a stand alone system?

 

Yes, they can be used together.

Marco (the programmer) needs to know if you plan on using the ECM with a fueling or timing box, as it is different programming.

Standard MAD ECM won't play nice with the Comp or EZ.
