Comp into a drag comp?

I have the comp box and was wondering if there is a way to upgrade it to the drag comp, if so what does it cost and how do I do it.

You gotta send it into Edge to have it upgraded. I think it's about $100.

Go to www.edgeproducts.com then drag upgrade form, fill it out, send the comp, form & check to Edge. You can also call them & they will give you a RMA# to send it in.

I believe they only need the box, however if you don't unplug the harness you will get a check engine light.

I only sent the box, but like said....you gotta unplug the harness from your map sensor & plug in the stock harness.

when I sent mine they wanted the wiring harness too, they sent me back a new harness so I didn't care, but I would say its definitely a good upgrade, was night and day.

If you have essentially the same mods as they do, I believe you will be able to hold your own. I had the comp (not hot) stacked with the smarty prior to the Adreanaline, and I personally prefer the Adrenaline to my stack, but for me it was more a matter of driveablilty more than just shear HP. I never did dyno the truck with the Comp/Smarty so I can't tell you the difference there. I still believe there can't be that much difference in HP.

I went from the Drag comp to Adrenaline. I like the Adrenaline much better, more responsive off idle, longer fuel stretch [I got 3200 with Drag comp, Adrenaline 4k] I think you will be eating smoke, sorry.

NOT!!! had the adrenaline, now back to the old school drag comp. on a dyno, drag comp by 20hp. on the g-tech, drag comp by .4. dont fall for the greener grass. drag comp on my truck pulls harder.
