when I talked to Brett at Industrial Injection he was talking up his B somthing hybrid turbo (can't remember what it was exatly, something like a John Deere, CAT hybrid) but it is fast he won 2nd fastest truck at weekend on the Edge in SLC UT
I will have to see if that one will still allow towing with out getting to high on the EGT's
so it sounds like there is no cheap way to bring my EGT's down?
will a bigger intercooler work? or is that just a BANKS THING?

A bigger intercooler won't help much if any at all. Your turbo is just to restrictive with the amount of fuel your pushing through it. It just physically can't move enough air to cool it all off.

I think I will talk to HTT too, and see what they can do, I may beable to cool things off for about $200.00 bucks by upgrading my turbo housing and wheel!
thanks for all the help guy's

Cheapest way to lower your EGT's is to figure a way to control your boost.
At 38 psi you are getting super heated air. The HY-35 should not exceed 30-32 psi...ever.
Your getting "expansion" boost along with your "compression" boost. You don't want the first.
Controlling the boost will help...but with your injectors & Drag Comp...you DO need more air! Upgrading your HY-35 (did not know HTT did that) may work...but I doubt it......both sides of that turbo are just too small for any added HP, IMHO.
I believe there are better options than the HX40...talk to Paul at HTT...he is a straight shooter.

Well HTT cant hybrid a hy-35 (what I have) so I will have to wait and save some money for a Phat Shaft 62 from Industrial Injection I talked to them and they think a PS62 would be perfect to my towing needs.

PDR can do a Nasty 9 for your HY, however, you should go larger on your turbo. Give Piers a call and discuss your mods and future mods, he'll set you up.
