Comp Box settings

Im still trying to make my mind up on boxes.stacking mine or a Comp.<br>I borrowed a comp for a few days. Will put it in tomorrow. What settings are you using for everyday driving. Then towing?<br> Thanks Danny

I drive around on 5x5... if it's raining/snowing, I either turn it off or put it on 1x5. Haven't had a chance to tow with it now that the pump wire is connected, but it was suggested to me to drop it down to about 3x(whatever) to put less strain on the pump and let the injectors do the work. I'll iron it out this spring when I start towing the 5er again... ;D<br><br>Tony

How can anyone go back to 1xwhatever when you have 5 just sitting there! Well I run mine at 5x1or2 lotsa smoke! I daily drive and tow like that a 36' pace american shadow trailer with a stock car no probs with egt or anything!

I have to agree once I got my comp and did the EGT testing I am hooked on the level 5 I can't go back and never will! No one can make me ;D

okay guys, about this EGT probe, i finally got dad to think about it in the mani but now i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO scared i'll mess something up and i'm sure he feels the same about me :. so are there any pointers u can give to us (mainly me cuz i'm the aftermarket freak)<br><br>thanks,<br>lil 99cummins

Drive mine with 5x5 24-7 365. i haul a 10 5th wheel dump trailer. Stock auto. Although one thing, MINE DOESNT SMOKE AT ALL!!!!!!!! HELP!!

2X2-4 most of the time - 5X5 when I wanna have fun! 2X2 or off when towing - Gotta watch the EGT's very closely when the box is on and the trailer is in tow..
