Re:COMP BOX PLEASE HELP

Sounds like you might not have a good connection on one of the plugs. Check the MAP sensor, and make sure the plug in the "Control Box" is tight.

Re:COMP BOX PLEASE HELP

Good advice above.

You should check the map sensor plugs, and the (forget the name) third one under the hood. Then there is the one on the back of the comp itself.

Did ya run the power and ground wire? Check those.

On a comp, I believe without the pump wire, no matter what it says, you will not fuel above 1x5, which is similar in power to an EZ. 1x1 setting is said to defuel from stock. I can't confirm that one.

Re:COMP BOX PLEASE HELP

One other thing. If you have double checked all the above, you can call Edge Products. They will help ya. It is possible to have a bad one from the box. Also, as I recall, power should be to the box even while cranking...check the directions again, but fuse #17 is sticking in my mind...

Re:COMP BOX PLEASE HELP

I would take the box off and see what happens and then call Edge for further instructions, could be a bad box etc.

Re:COMP BOX PLEASE HELP

One wire goes to the pump, the other sounds like the ground.
Does it have a "ring-style" teminal?
The pump wire should have a "Female" push-on connector.
Attatched my ground wire to one of the bolts on the intake horn.

Hope this solves your trouble.

BTW (Typing in all caps means you're shouting)

Re:COMP BOX PLEASE HELP

Let us know if it works.

Instructions from www.edgeproductsinc.com:
http://www.edgeproductsinc.com/comp-instructions.html

Excerpt dealing with the ground wire:
Reinstall the air intake assembly onto the intake manifold using the four bolts. Install the ring connector on the supplied black ground wire onto one of these bolts preferably the bolt with the large ground wire already attached to it. Using the torque wrench and 10mm socket, torque these bolts to 18 lb./ft. Install and tighten the oil dipstick tube retaining bolt and tighten.
