is this a common problem

Well I am new on here but have been reading the forum for some time now. I recently installed a Zillaraider in my '02 ram. I have 4" exhaust and the S&B intake on it. I have noticed a very slight surging around 1600-1750 rpm or about 60 mph. I mostly run the PL2 setting and try to keep it out of PL3 until I can get a set of gauges. You know how it is tho... ya just gotta play a little tho LOL. The PL2 setting is a noticeable difference but the PL3 pulls a lot stronger above 2000 rpm.
Anybody else have the surge problem ? Again , it isn't bad. Actually causes very little RPM change.
And on another subject I have just installed a new set of lights ($28 for s set of xenons ) and am waiting on the new wiring harness before I comment but i know they can't be any worse.
So far with the mods i have done my mileage has gone from 17mpg to 20.5mpg at 75mph before the Zilla raider ( just exhaust and intake) . I am still waiting to burn this first tank with the Zillaraider to see what the new MPG are .

Yea... it seems to be a common problem alright.
Some people probably wouldn't even notice the surge. I drive so much and for long distances that i hear and notice everything it seems.
Waiting till after the x-mas rush on my bank acct before i get the commander module to handle the gauge issue.
