Cometic head gasket instead of o-rings??

Has anyone had experience with using a Cometic multi layer steel head gasket on these trucks? On their site it says they have had no problems up to 80lbs of boost with that gasket and 12mm studs and no o rings. I have had very good luck with Cometic on high HP (700-1000rwhp) gas motors in the past and was wandering if this was as good as o-ringing on these diesel motors???

no there not as good as o- rings .I had two cometics on my truck 01 dodge in about 3 months thay both let go around 50lbs then I put o-rings and a stock gasket and it holds 62lbs every day for 7 months . But I have heard thay are remaking the gaskets in a new way but still have not seen anyone with good luck with one on a truck . so for about the same $ as one of the cometic gaskets i got my head o- ringed its a try and true thing to do .

I have heard there are major problems with the Cometic head gaskets for our trucks. Been told do not use them.

I bought one when they first came out. After Ratsun had very little luck with his on a fully prepped block and head, and many other failures, mine is still sitting in the basement. It might move upstairs in the future, but won't ever be going on my engine. Money wasted on the gasket, but atleast I'm not doing the headgasket twice on it.
