Gus just did 800+ on a monster vp fuel only, so yes it can be done.

You can hit 800hp, driveability(I think you spell it like that), throw it out the window.

That Truck didnt make 807.... Try 754, The Dynocom has proven to read high, All times and information lead to an inflated number! Also, There were folks that saw it was inflated with software. I would stay away from the monster pump until more research is done!

It can be done, just not easily, especially on fuel only. My friend made 793hp with three stages of nitrous on a screwed up HO pump a HTT62/14/71 and some Mach 7's. Richard Brown of Browns Diesel knows his stuff.

You mean SO? I dont think anyones ever made over 650 on a HO pump, Nitrous wont do any good if the fuel's not there! I'd say there running a SO or HRVP if there making 793 ! 650 to 700 is pretty easy on fuel only!

Gus did 807 uncorrected and 760 corrected. I have the dyno graph I will attatch. I know alot of guys dont like Gus but alot of guys dont get along because of one reason or another. I'll stick up for him b/c he isnt allowed to post on here for one reson or another. Any way you look at it 750-760 on fuel is crazy on a VP truck.

$9000 is not enough for a reliable 800hp. Unless you fabricate evrything and sourced some used-rebuilt parts. Which is not a bad thing....

5500 for a set of modern twins.
2k for cam and machine work
2in head/block work for studs and fire-rings.
already over budget and still need water/meth and nos and a monster vp and boxes and and and

Reliable and 800hp don't go together. 800hp trucks are high maintenance, that's just par for the course.

I agree completly!
And Secondly, Pete, In no way was I talking about Gus, I was talking of the Monster VP-44, I just dont feel they've proven there selfs yet! When I see results on somthing besides a dyno comm I'll have more faith!

600hp plus a good shot of NOS is still going to be pretty driveable. Our R700 twins will definately flow more than enough for what you are looking at. You will need a bigger box. Our 02 was 630hp and had our twins, intercooler, stock vp44, drag comp, 155hp injectors and water meth. There was some headwork done and a cam as well. It was great fun to drive. You could pull the 10k 5th wheel to the track, blast of 12 teens all day long then hook up and drive home again.

No sir it is not "one reason or another" it is simply that Gus is a dishonest, lying individual, of which I have proof.

He spammed a ton of people here on this forum via PM and was removed because of it. He called me and emailed me begging to be allowed back on the forum, stating he did NOT spam any one or at least he didn't mean to. And it was only 2 or 3 people by accident.I told him I would take a few days to consider it and let him know.

Before I could call him back he registered under another user name and did it AGAIN. He sent out well over 100 PM's as spam while lying to me saying it was just a mistake and he would NEVER do such a thing.

I won't let him on this forum because it would be a dis-service to those members that he would eventually lie, cheat and steal from. I guess those "one reason or another' are just a little more profound than that

I wouldn't believe anything that comes out of his mouth, and you would be wise to think that way as well.

My 500 HP truck was too high maintenance for my taste.

p-pump your truck and run a 215 pump with ddp stage 4's and set of piers racing twin turbo's with piers custom taper delivery valves, and a 4kgsk with 60lb valves springs and a 0 plate full forward and have your pump tuned and buy a fass 150gph pump and you should have enough for something good. i know the injectors are good for up to 900rwhp and a 0 plate is the most fuel you can get and piers custom delivery valves are the pretty big, or you could just buy an industrial injection dragon flow pump and some dragon flow injectors but by then you would have so much fuel you wouldn't make it down the street without blacking it out. a piers stupid pump would get u there pretty easy too.
