Come one, Come all, Horsepower Gurus Are About to Have A Ball

Alright guys, this ones gonna be all out. Its an 01 2500 auto 4x4. Right now i've got a 5 inch lift, 37" km2 tires, a 4" straight piped exhaust, edge with attitude, s&b cold air intake, and theres been something done to the fuel pump becuase im getting 22psi at idle and even at WOT it doesn't go below 15psi. Heres for the horsepower gurus though, i want a 800hp street and track driven monster. i know the transmission requirements and am getting those worked out as we speak. I'm gonna be going with either an Art Carr unlimited hp tranny, or a dave goerend fully billit transmission.

You will need more fuel than a VP-44 can supply. So you need to P pump it or be satisfied with 700 HP. You'll have a hard time making that setup streetable with a P pump.

You'll probably want the biggest DDP custom injectors money can buy, or some Mach 8's. Three stages of NO2, Two stages of Water/Meth. SB66 over a big brother or a custom Holset with 115mm compressor.

Or buy a stock Ford 6.0 and add a chip and you'll be good for 850 HP or so.

Haha nice, but really i was thinking of going with the hot rod vp or the fuel boss because its mechanical. The setup i was thinking would be going with the ats twins, or the new bd racing twins, bd intercooler, bullydog 220horse injectors and stacking a smarty on top of the edge, the dual shot race kit from bullydog, ats intake manifold, bd exhaust manifold and the 6" bullydog exhaust, or maybe even 5" back to 7" stacks.

Smarty/Edge wont do it. Redline or TST plus Smarty. You will need 62/14 or 64/14 over s480 twins plus NX to get 800 hp. Mach 7's or 8's. For fuel only 800hp you will need a monster vp.

Nice, how much do you think im looking at her cost wise? I'd have a shop do it, obviously, because im not comfortable enough to trust my 25k truck as it sits now to myself entirely. i've got about 14000 to play with and that includes the money for the trans. so minus about 5k from that and i've got about 9k to play with for power upgrades.

5K for twins, 1200 for injectors, 2K for head work, 700 for big lift pump and you're out of money.

Buy used twins, used injectors, minimal head work: firerings and studs, Walbro pump, and used HRVP or New SO vp, intake, exhaust, and whats left for Nitrous. I think you will be a little short unless you get a shop to build the whole truck at once and cut you a deal like a sponsorship with the shop name on your ride or something. I still think you will never get 800 HP on a dynojet.
