If you guys are gonna run some kind of cover I would steer away from anything that fits directly over the radiator. It's better to have something over the grill. That way if the radiator needs air it can get it. And also the intercooler doesn't have a shortage of air.

Just my $0.02

A Budweiser 18 pack carton works great, I put one in between the radiator and condensor every fall and take it out in the spring. They have some type of "wax" coating on them that keeps them from crumbling when they get wet and you can have a great time emptying it out with a couple of friends. That winter front from Cabela's looks REALLY tempting though, maybe it'll go on my Christmas list.

To answer correctly, I only have the grill inserts. I never got the bumper inserts and I don't think I will. Seems to work for me so far. I must admit when we get those couple of weeks of -30, I put in cardboard for town driving.

I plan to use an old lawn sign made from the plastic corregated board behind my grill for the winter. It is free, waterproof and should do the trick.

I have the Lund stainless grill inserts and they help alot. I question how good my thermostat is and I have a new one to put in but unless it runs warm I'm going to stick with the grill inserts too. My truck stays outside and I think the engine heater works better with the inserts because they trap a little more heat in the engine compartment.

I have the lund inserts, but that thing from Cabela's looks really nice. I wish someone made a snap on thing like on the rigs in white with a big, blue cummins "c" on it.
