Coil Spring Compressor
Does anybody recommend a good coil spring compressor that they have used, but is not too expensive. I was looking for something that will work ok on heavy duty coils & also is ok to use on vinyl coated springs.....

well idk if your wanting to pull the springs off your truck or not, but if you are you dont need one...take the trac bar loose and jack it up til they fall out. Alot less dangerous IMO

Did you get the height thing sorted out?
Here is what I did, I used a bottle jack on the control arm and frame bracket and jacked it down, just had to pry a little bit to get the longer spring in

I also unhooked the frame end of the track bar/sway bar end links/pass side tierod end, and drv side mounting bolt for the brakeline. your CAD vacuum line may or may not strech enough, took about 20mins to unhook everything

yeah, i pretty much had planned on removing the tie rod ends, track bar, & also the top control arms. even with this it was pretty difficult getting the axle down low enough to get the springs in.
what i'm doing is putting in an 1" spacer because i still wanted to raise the truck up about an 1" from where it is now after putting in the carli coils. i just thought that a coil compressor might help a little bit to get the coils in. i haven't really seen any coil compressors online that i thought might work well. when the coil compressors are good quality & heavy duty I've noticed that they run $200 or $300.....
i thought about trying these, but i don't know if they are big enough.....
