Re:coil spacer?

i have a BDS poly spacer and it has worked out great. looks good and I can tell the ride is just a tad softer than normal.

Re:coil spacer?

I did the steel one on mine which is an '02, but I don't think the front suspension is any different on the 03 4x4's. I took the sway bar loose when I did mine and it went back together pretty easily. Had to take the factory jack and push the axle down a little to get the coil and spacer back in. It's a fairly easy procedure, but you'll need a good jack and some tall jackstands.

Re:coil spacer?

I would go with the steel spacers. I've read elsewhere that the plastic ones don't hold up well with the heavy diesel motors. I plan on installing a steel set myself, best price I've found to date is $129....have you found better?

Re:coil spacer?

The 2 inch was perfect on my 2nd Gen. Made it exactly level. I haven't seen any new ones around here with a leveling kit installed, so I can't say for sure, but i've never seen a 3 inch kit for sale. All the leveling kits for the 2nd gen. are 2 inchers.

2" is perfect. I haven't seen a 3" kit. I went with Tuff Country steel spacers @ $129 from Suspensionconnection.com. Click below for a couple of pics. Mike

Re:coil spacer?

Yes I did have the tires prior to the lift. I had no problems with rub. It's amazing how large a tire you can get under these trucks. I did the spacers for aesthetics only.

Re:coil spacer?

Anyone have a link for some coil spacers that can be installed on a 4x2? I'd like to lift the front end of my truck up a couple of inches. It seems WAY too low. :

Re:coil spacer?

Hoss, since I've been in Aggieland (in physics class as we speak ), I have been told by several people that you can put a hockey puck or two on top of the front coil to help lift the front end up on a 2x4.

Interesting. I think not. :

If you don't quit playing on DTR during physics you're gonna be taking it again next semester. Trust me. ;D

Re:coil spacer?

Hoss, I checked all the lift sites I know, and none of them had any spacers for a 2wd 2500 or 3500. ??? ???
