cm housing on hx35

hey guys i think this is the turbo on my truck how do i know what size housing i have and what are the benefits of a bigger/smaller housing and also what would be a good power upgrade to my truck as to what is in my sig already

If you have an HX-35 (5/6 speed transmission) then it is 12 cm³.

If you have a HY-35 (automatic transmission) then it is 9 cm³.

Smaller housings are better for fast spoolup but chokes out at higher RPM and boost pressure.

Larger housings have more turbo lag, but can handle more exhaust to produce more boost.

The real trick is to find a good balance between the two.

As far as a power upgrade, browse through or post in the performance forum please. (I don't know much about power upgrades in any case).
