Cluth for hauling...Southbend?
I am looking for a clutch for my 2001 3500 H.O., of course i got a 6 spd. w/ 3:55 gears. For performance all i have is a TST power max 3 comp., a Van Aaken, an aFe megacannon. However I do some heavy hauling, and quite often. I haul a lot of cattle so i need something that will hold up. I may do a county fair pull for fun, but thats not my objective. I was looking at possibly a South Bend OFE, or FE. I would appreciate any recommendations or feedback.

My truck held 457HP (on the dyno) 480HP (At the track), and was very drivable grossing up to 40,000 Lbs. I was also very liberal with the throttle.
With your setup I would run the Con OFE. It will chatter some backing up, but nothing unacceptable.
With the OFE you could run DD4's, or Mach 3 injectors, with a small twin turbo setup, or a large single and still be ok.
The FE would be overkill for your situation, and isn't needed until you hit 500RWHP. (Overkill would also bring driveability down).
The OFE is rated up to 450RWHP.
The FE is rated to 550RWHP.
If you have 450HP, and run a FE,, it wil not be a very mannered clutch. You HAVE to match your clutch with your power.
You actually have to "drive through" your clutch a little to get good manners from it, and if you are not, then it becomes to grabby, and acts more like an On/Off Switch.
