Clutch, turbo , and injector combo for more power!
I'm new to the diesel world and I have owned my cummins for a year. I joined this site to learn from everyone and I have so many questions. My goal is to have 400-500rwhp I got the intake, exhaust, and guages taken care of and the edge comp taped. What kind of clutch do I need that will handle the hp&trqe and I pull heavy (416C backhoe 14+lbs)? Now I want some high hp injectors that will work with a single after market turbo. When a new turbo comes into the equasion how will it fit my exhaust or my K&N cold air intake due to the 90 outlet and inlet? It's a jegs Performance 5'' Diesel Exhaust System 555-30435 bolts on my stock turbo. Clutch, turbo, injectors what do I need?

from your profile,
"Truck Model:
3500 5spd
Truck Year:
1999
Truck Color:
silver
Truck Mods:
Edge comp (taped), 5'' jeggs exhaust with 6'' steel tip, K&N cold air intake with dry charger, ATS black air horn, auto meter pyr-boost-fuel p gauges, BD short shifter, no silencer ring, therma cool wrapped around filter tube"
since you are towing, get 5th gear taken care of and upgrade the input shaft to 1 3/8". south bend clutch is a proven performer. how is the fuel pressure? still solid? dont plan on that too long, it will need to be upgraded.
how much are you looking to spend? how many miles on the truck? original VP-44? again, be prepared to pay just in case...

I got my truck at 99,000 miles and the lift pump went out soon after buying it! When that happened it fryed the injection pump so both are new and i'm at 105k right now. The fuel pressure was 14-19psi when I had it hooked up due to the noise I disconnected it when I get the right adapters and needle valve it will be back on. When it comes to money you know I wanna buy the best product that will last as long as I keep my truck! Since I don't have a credit card I have to use the old mans and I have to buy what I need one at a time so he can pay it off.
