Clutch question

What is the benefit of a sprung clutch disc hub vs. a solid one when it comes to twin disc clutches?

not really specific to dual disks.......but most importantly shock absorbtion when unloading the peddle too fast. less likely to tear the hub out of the disk by any sort of shockloading
