Clutch, which one?

Clutch, which one?
My stock clutch doesn't seem to like the added power. It is slipping in 4th and 5th. So I guess it is time to upgrade.
After hearing all the good things about South Bend, it seems like that is the way to go. Question is which South Bend clutch is the one for me?
I don't really tow much so I don't think the larger flywheel would needed.
Future plans are GSK, 370's and maybe ???. What kind of HP / Tq numbers would that put me at? Con O or Con OFE???
I want to do the clutch once and not have to upgrade a year down the line.
Thanks

Clutch upgrade depends on what you use the truck for and how high you're gonig on HP.
If you tow heavy, you want a milder clutch and a little lower power-- this will make it a LOT easier to hitch up.
If you're going on mega-hp, then forget about a towing clutch. You need holding power. Con FE is nice for 500hp.
If you're going to be THRASHING the clutch via sled-pulling, go with an EE pulling clutch.
If you're a drag racer, you'll want to holding power and shiftability of Joe Donnelly's modified Sachs.

I tow 15K lbs with the con o and it does a very good job. I had the con ofe and it was to "grabby" for my needs. When backing I always got chatter and it would not go away. The o fixed that and I have had no slippage problem at all. Also Peter is /CLASS/. If everybody was as helpful as he, business dealing's would be a lot of fun. But they're not and we have what we have. Call......Peter will set you straight.
