Clutch Input-
Have any of you guys seen the clutches on E-Bay from Idaho Transmission Warehouse? They are Luk Pro-Gold setups, that have had the clutch facings replaced with "feramic" lining that supposedly holds better. They are advertising a "Stage 3" which can hold 450hp and 1000ft/lbs. Anyone out there had any experience with them? List for like $500. Gotta spend over a grand to get that kind of holding power out of SB for the 5-speed. Let me know- Thanks

Check out this thread. Lots of good info, including info about e-bay clutches.

There is no way I would ever put a ceramic clutch near my truck. They are on or off, and thats it. They do not slip. Want to break drive line parts, just use a lot of power and pull heavy loads.

I agree with HID I'm living proof of his statement. My transmission is out and in pieces now. A ceramic clutch is made to drop not ease out on. I had a TST ceramic 1000ft/lb it would chatter your teeth out. Not to mention what it did to my driveline.
