Hy all,

I've got a question for ya's. My buddy has a 96 dodge cummins 5 speed. When he got it he had to replace the clutch and just went with a stock replacement from NAPA. He's had it in for prob. 5,000 or so miles and it's been starting to develop a jerk whenever he takes off in ever reverse or in forward gears. He took it to his mechanic the other day and he said he thinks the flywheel is warped. It was resurfaced when they put it in. So apperently it is something with the clutch. Napa is willing to replace the clutch and pay for laber. But the thing is is he is starting to get into performance and wants a bigger clutch. We're thinking a Southbend Con ofe for it, since it comes with flywheel and is what he needs for performance. And since it has to come aprt anyway it'd be the perfect time to put in a performance clutch. So does anybody know what he could get out of his brand new replacement NAPA clutch and fly wheel?

Oh I would say somewhere in the $200-300 area for a new Napa Clutch...

Make sure he gets a new flywheel...
