Chrome exhaust tip

A guy I work with has a 99 2500 4x4, and he's got a chrome tip on his truck... I believe it is a clamp on style that goes over the original tip. I've asked him where he got it but he can't remember... anyone have any ideas????

Re:Chrome exhaust tip

I work for a major truck builder, and I got a scrap chrome
stack and had a section cut off of it. Then I drilled three
1/4 " holes and tapped them, and used 1/4" bolts to secure it.
Worked out perfect with very little space around tailpipe. hope this helps.

I have the chrome slip on from genos garage also. it slides over your exhaust and doesn't need to be welded. THe slip interference fit is enough to hold it in place. I think it was $36 and mine looks great after 2 years.

Re:Chrome exhaust tip

I just installed a stainless turn-down tip to keep the soot on the cars behind me vs. my quarter panel. 8) Rip hooked me up with it, and BigK did the expert welding. IMHO, stainless is the only way to go, and it is not that much more expensive than chrome...
