Question Choices on auto scanners

I am in the market for a good auto scanner and after reading reviews about Actron, Innova etc, etc, etc..... I am under the firm belief that its a choose your own adventure book on whether you get a good one that doesn't have software problems, or doesn't cover this major manufacturer or that one....

So, please let me know which brand and model numbers you are using and if you are happy with the one you have or if you would choose a different one.....

Scangauge II. I have one and it has been very useful in troubleshooting weird problems on the wife's car. I just got my truck and haven't tried it on it yet. It is on their compatibility list
