Chips with built in vp44 protection

I am looking for a chip like the edge w/ attitude but for a bit less money. Is there any other chips out there that moniter fuel pressure, EGT and boost?

not gonna find anything for less money, but you could combine a quad commander with any number of aftermarket boxes (it can control many brands or box/tuner and has those guages built in) but again its not going to be cheaper

yea looks like ill have to wait for the edge.

I am mostly worried about fuel pressure right now since truck is stock. Where can I hook up a hand held fp guage to check pressure from lift pump?

There is a test port (schrader valve) close to the filter/pump. I'm not sure exactly where it is on an 02.

BTW- You really need to test it under load.

o i thought testing it before starting and at idle was enough

It can test fine at idle, and under load still drop to much. That's why most run a gauge in the cab.

And welcomr to DTR, you will learn more from about your truck than you thought possible...

On an 02 its on a bango bolt at the VP44 (injection pump). What he said about testing it under load.
