I am new to the Dodge Cummins.
Ok a guy came into my shop and has a 2001 Dodge Cummins with 5 speed manual and wants me the chip it.What chip do you guys think is the best for the money out there?He pulls a trailer almost daily on the farm.

Ask him What HP he is going after, If he just wants a little more for towing An EZ . or if he thinks he is evergoing to want more then start off with a drag comp and don't hook the wires up to the pump until ready. Are you installing gauges on it ? cause he'll need them with any power mod towing.

 

The EZ will give him about 65hp. If he wants more then get the comp box and don't hook up the pump wire. This will give him adjustability when he wants it. He will need the gauges like torquemech said. Make sure that his fuel pressure is ok.
