Re:Check out these Bumpers?
To be honest with you, if you leave off the over-hood bars (which I've never really saw the purpose of), I like the Road Armor stuff. They're the only ones I've seen to date with a fitment for the DR-series trucks....that ain't saying Reunel etc. don't have one, just that I haven't seen one. If I was into steel they'd be towards the top of my list.

But then I've been accused of being backwards before.

Jason
Re:Check out these Bumpers?
I checked out the site today at work. Some of them look really awesome if the truck is lifted. I was impressed until I saw a price. 1,350 to start before a winch. [undecided] I will stick to my Westin.

Ya, a bit pricey.

Take off the over hood bars, slap another couple of bars in the huge grill opening (looks big enough for a deer to slide right through and take out the grill, radiator, intercooler, etc) and they don't look too bad.

A bit out of my price range though, still gotta put a winch in (another 1,300.00)

phox
Re:Check out these Bumpers?
Actually They have a new model out now as well thats really nice called the stealth model. Features more aerodynamic edges and a weight savings of more than 40 lbs. The over the hood bars are an $800 option that most people never buy. The front grille guard is an option as well. True it is one of the most expensive bumpers out there. IMO its also one of the nicest.(not to mention the fact theyll stretch it 3 inches to accomodate my body lift ;D). Ive been researching these for a while as I plan on buying one in the near(hopefully) future. The model I want (pictured below) will hold six sets of PIAA's and running lights as well. That oughta light up the road at night. (No more squinting for deer)
Evil

I saw these bumpers and thought it was pretty rad, but not as radical as Road Armor's.

http://www.stamey.nu/Truck/Bumper.htm

Chris
