wonder if those tuned equal-length headers are worth the time? when I look at the standard manifold I often wonder if theres any real difference in backpressure on the inside versus outside cylinders

Dont know about that. I do know that the motor sounds like its smoother & like its somehow working less to run. If that makes sence. I also noticed at least a 100-150* drop in EGT's wile crusing on the hwy & a even bigger drop in EGT's under load prob in the 200-250+ drop under load.

I guess one observation.

Why did you mount the egt probe in the front instead of the rear hole?

I wanted to put it in the back but the water line going in to my turbo is in the way. So I had to put in in the front.

I was told on most trucks you cant bec the header comes to close to the oil filter & that they are coming out with one that will solve that problim. But they told me I would have no problim fliping it for twins bec I have a AmsOil Bypass kit & relocated my oil filters.

I cant waite I should be getting my exhaust leak fixed today (we were unable to get one of the turbo flange bolts tight bec of the water line going in to my turbo) so after with no leaks I will really be able to play with this thing & see how it feels & what EGT drops i got. Cant waite!

Ok I had an exhaust leak @ the turbo flange. I got the leak fixed & OMG I love this header! I would say that low RPM spool up is at least as good as the stock manifold with much better mid to high range power. & my EGT's are around 100-150* cooler with normal driving/crusing & at least 200* cooler when on it HARD! I could hit 1450-1500* pretty easy befor & now I have to try to really try to get it to touch 1300*+. I can get it up there but I really have to try! Last night I set my Edge on kill (lvl 6+5) & stood on the throttle from around 55 mph in top gear & stayed in the throttle till around 115-120 mph & I just barly hit 1300-1350*. Befor I would have backed out of the throttle WAY befor that bec of the high temps & now I can stay in the throttle as long as I want to with out getting them. Its great I wish I would have got this a long time ago! I highly recomend this product! Its not cheap but IMO well worth the money!
