Cheap High Idle Option

Lookin for parts for the wifes new little play toy I ran across a neat little gadget that looks like it will be a cheap way to add a high idle option to our trucks. I tried the old bicycle shifter lever, but it wasn't strong enough to work. This one says it locks into place. www.roadlessgear.com/page/RGL/PROD/E/RG100 Let me know what you think.

You could try a big rig junk yard and get a hand throttle out of a older semi they all had one.

I got my throttle cable at Carquest. It has a T-handle on the end.

with my 4k GSK, the throttle is way too touchy for a stick...

here's what I'm getting... even has a nifty quick release button in case you accidently try to use it as a poor man's cruise control

I have a "high idle stick" that goes against the dash I bought at a Pilot for <$10.
