Cheap gauges, do they exist?

hey yall,

So everyone thinks highly of the Smarty, and everyone suggests stand alone gauges vs. all-in-ones like the Attitude and Quadzilla Commander. Well, I want to go this route, but at $200 each for the Pyro and Fuel gauges, the pillar and gauge package (with boost) is gonna be $500+. Add to that the price of the smarty ($650) and it will cost me $1150 for the smarty vice $650 for the Edge Juice. Well, I love my truck, and only want the best for it, but am I gonna get my money's worth?

Gracias yall

Check the classified section.
There were a couple of sets for sale.

The Cummins is High $$ option over the gasser engine.
Why try to go cheap?

I got my ISSPROs from www.dieselmanor.com , I think it was right around $300.00. They are a good company to deal with,I have spent literally thousands there and always have a good experience.

Cheap might mean not so fancy...
i wouldnt give 200 for a fuel gauge, when any normal pressure gauge works fine, i use my 30psi turbo boost gauge as a fuel gauge on my stock 24v, fuel directly into the gauge with a 1/8" plastic hose.

Good luck!

I paid severely less than that for my gauges , and i mean SEVERELY less , mine were quite abit under 200$ , and that included shipping, and yes , there were brand new , ITB.

Stop into your local napa , they will have a big catalogue FULL of gauges , much more affordable than the ones they sell us diesel heads, If i was going to do it again , that is what i would do.

it also depends on how accurate you want the gauges to be. typically the higher dollar ones are accurate. I have the autometer cobalt gauges, love em, but pricey and accurate.

Got mine on ebay from a company called glowshift...Not super high quality, but they look nicer than the ISSPRO guages, paid just under 200 for a Pyro, Trans Temp, and Boost gauge...Tha includes sending units and the Pillar pod. Good luck, BTW that was for a 94-95 Ram, so it may be a touch more or less for the 96-98.
