CB Antennas

Does anyone know a a good place on the web that sells them?

I've got an old Radio Shack mini that I'd like to mount in my truck but need a good set of dual Firesticks with some mounts to put on my tool box or bed rails. I used to use a magnetic wip but I loaned the CB out to a freind and the antenna came back broke. :

I don't want anything over 4' tall ( anything after that is just a little too RedNeck for me ) No lighted antennas either please.

Thanks for you time.
Darrell

http://www.cbsforless.com/

This guy has the best prices I've seen. Problem is, I just looked at his website and he's dedicated a lot of it to his powder coating service. Email him, like he says. Just go to the CB and Electronics page and email him. His prices are better than any I've seen on radios and antennas.

Re:CB Antennas

I got mine directly from firestik.

http://www.firestik.com

Problem is, they don't sell directly to the public, at least according to the web page.

Go to the "find a dealer near you", they only list Flying J and some other truck stop, but there is an email address to request dealers near you.
They replied with a couple of web sites, but there wasn't one site that had everything I wanted for my installation, so I emailed back and they gave me a phone number (can't remember it, didn't write it down, was 3-4 months ago) to call the factory direct and get them shipped to you.

Just make up a list of part numbers you want (antennas, mounts, springs, coax, connectors, etc) to give them when you call.
They even suggested a better, easier, cheaper method that what I was thinking I'd have to do.

good luck

phox

Re:CB Antennas

Sounds like a plan to me. I know Ch was interested in this also. I am sure a few more want the same thing. Take a day and do all the installs. Before June. Cb's will cut down on the State taxes. 8)
