When you find out if they work, sell one to me! I think they do not have a divided housing though, which would create pulses of exhaust flowing back into the other three cylinders' exhaust manifold. But might work, maybe someone has already experimented. Do they need a water hook up as well, or just oil?

It might hurt spoolup a tad but that's about it. Many 4-6cyl turbo applications don't use split turbine housings.

I have been told they have a 71 turbine wheel.
Have you got a way to find out?
Yes, they should work although it probably won't have the popular hx-40 flange for the downpipe.

Thanks, no turbo expert.

It is just that I do gaze longingly every once in a while at one we have around here. It is on a 600 ci Cat that powers a fire pump. The turbine casing and the exhaust manifolds are both water coolded.
