I bought the pulse from here and did not recieve any upgrade instructions and the ones on quads site did not say anything about weather it had to be conected or dissconected from the adr just that your not supposed to connect it to the pc untill prompted.

I ran the preinstaller, but I still had to go into the device manager and update the driver on the uart bridge controller thingy or whatever it's called. If you've ran the preinstaller, go into your device manager (right click on my computer, properties, hardware, device manager) and see if there's anything with a yellow question mark beside it. If so, right click on it and select update driver.

Then your computer is recognizing the module and probably has the drivers installed correctly. What happens when the updater runs? Does your pulse turn on when you plug it into the computer? It should.

i had the problem also
run the pre installer
then before you update the pulse
another window will open to find the drivers.
you need to install that manually. you need to browse where you saved the driver to in the window that opened. click on it to manually install it. then you can update the pulse

i couldnt get my computer to install the driver by it self. i had to do it manually and it all worked well.
try it

Tried that.

I have uninstalled the drivers through device manager and when I hook the pulse back up it says found new hardware the you hear the tones and the little pop and the window says your hardware is ready to use I am not getting any window to pop up. It did the first time I pluged it up then it wont do it again

you have the latest 3.5 downloaded?
ok so you ran the pre installer by un zipping it then clicking on the pre installer?
then open pulse update wait for the prompts follow directions and when it says plug in the pulse plug it in.
at this point it should look for drivers. if it dont look for drivers just hit update.

where is the prob comming in?
