Can I hook up 3 "lights only" to the H/L switch?

..ok I've been working on installing my 3 gauges off and on for more than a week...question: can I hook up my 3 lights only gauges to the one wire on the headlamp switch, so I can dim them? Or is this too much current to draw from..I will use an after market fuse panel for the + pos source to run the gauges..Where did you tap in for the power with key on ....thanks in advance..

Yes, but it can draw a lot of juice and cause problems with an already hot-running switch.

If you have gauges that use newer lighting technology (like the indiglo typle lighting or LEDs) then it's perfectly safe. With regular incandescent bulbs, it's ALMOST perfectly safe...

Have fun!
