i have an hx55w can i set it up with an hx 35w on my truck for twins if this sounds like a stupid question sorry iam new


i have a 2000 3500 six speed comp box super mental injectors
air intake 5 inch exhaust and a con fe clutch

 

i guess it was a stupid question sorry

 

not really a stupid question.....8 out of 10 people on here ask about parts compatibilities hoping someone has tried it or is using it. I have heard of 55 bottom turbos but can't commemt on the setup, tuning or mods to the 35 to make it play with the 55 okay. I'm sure if someone has knowledge of the pair they will chime in....be patient and see what happens.

i plan on using a hx55 on botton 19cm wastegated housing,with a hy9 on top. i think this will be a killer tow set up. should be able to hit 500 or so rwhp and boost for 1200 rpm or so on. and with the ability to waste gate of the 55 i can limit boost pretty easy. but i have been planing on doing this for 2 years, yea i put stuff off sometimes.

 

what mods would need to be done for both turbos
