Bypass Oil Filter Tap Location?
Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting one of those oil filter mounts to hook up a bypass oil filter.
1) Where would be the best place to tap in for the oil supply? I was thinking the bolt right next to the turbo oil feed line on top of the oil filter holder.
2) If I tap in there, would I notice a drop in my oil pressure at any RPM? Or is the oil pressure high enough that I would only be compensating for oil that would otherwise go through the oil pressure regulator valve?
3) What size hose should I use? I don't want to lose too much oil pressure so you think 3/8" is good?
4) Where can I get some cheap low micron bypass filters?
Thanks for the help.

i have a frantz filter on mine and i tapped in where you mentioned, and i believe i used 3/8" hose and i noticed no oil pressure loss. i believe that the frantz filters filter out smaller particles than other bypass filters and the filters are as cheap as a roll of toilet paper

And do most places take that type of used oil filter?
