and on the stainless braided hose topic, if the aluminum AN fittings really aren't strong enough for you then you can do stainless steel AN fittings. if you get a cheap brand aluminum i can see them wearing out and having problems.

I can't think of an application where more reliabilty and strength is needed than aircraft, especially ag aircraft....if they're so troublesome why are both AN fittings and stainless braided hose used so much in aircraft??? Don't give these methods a bad name because cheap fittings or improper end installment causes a problem!

Mcmaster-Carr has steel tubing. They don't have aluminized steel tubing, but they do have stainless steel tubing. http://www.mcmaster.com . You can purchase a tube bender form Eastwood: http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...=tubing+bender . Ridgid makes a nice flair set: http://www.ridgid.com/catalog/RT2004-076.pdf

Hay Jon96 its been a couple yrs ,working selfemployed handiman stuff these days, the tubing is original equipment and is aluminumized steel , simaluar to exhaust , first time I've seen it besides ex. usally I do not want to get to far from stock so that it should be easyer to fix on the road or ,what have ya , but this is maybe one of those situations where mods might be easyer except for like now tring to find access, this a big part of why I'm almost glad I got ripped off and out of auto repair buis [ except for looking after my own stuff] the endless planned obsalence , doing things like this to capture the market share , a new definition to preventive maintance [prevent you from maintaining ] I bought the Cummins not the dodge. prattman that looks like a good site . thanks guys.
