Buy 215 injectors....where?

I have a '98 2500 12v. Goerund auto. I am not looking for big power. Just good power and towing a 4k Jeep and 2k trailer. Am debating 215 injectors vs 330 marine Boschs.
What is a good shop/price for the 215s?

Hey, Motor, I have contemplated these injectors also. I wonder what the increase in performance is.

If you do this, keep us posted.

piers has them for $499, and says 30hp.

for that kind od money I would go to DDP stage 2 they are 75hp and will probably perform better.

I've got some Stage 2 from PDI and I am very happy, no smoke and more torque, bought them on Ebay

Aren't the 215 injectors from a 215hp motor ?

I bought my injectors from a diesel shop in town. They are rebuilts. They reuse the bodies and install new tips when they rebuild them. I paid about $350CAN (~$300US) for them. I'd say they're good for 25-30HP. Not too smoky. Fuel consumption is about the same as the 180's. EGT's aren't an issue until my turbo gets past 35psi. As far as performance, I pulled away from an older 5 litre Mustang from 60 to 100 MPH locked up in OD with what's in my sig. I installed them when my tranny was stock. 3 months later it was toast.

You'll definately notice an improvement in power with 215's. The question is whether they're your best bang for the buck. Since you've got a Goerend tranny, and depending how much money you want to spend, you might want look into something else.

I have a set from my truck, 145,000 miles, not a problem with them.

Offers ? We might have to bring this to the Classified section.

I put 215 injectors in my truck that I had laying around and it cut my quarter mile time down by 1/2 second. The truck definately runs a little better, and I couldnt tell any difference in EGT's. Its not something that will make put you in awe, but it is a decent difference.
