bushwacker flares

hey guys i just ordered some bushwacker flares for my truck and have heard they are pretty easy to do and put on even tho its a dually, but i just wondered if anyone has done this before on their 2gen i have heard u may have ot heat up the flare a little because of the dually light but just wanted to know if this was true or not and if anyone has a write up on it, if not i guess im going to be the first to do it, but any advise would be great and very helpful

thanks in advance

Chris

mine isn't a dually but my bushwak's were easy no heating needed. the only thing I can say is have a extra set of hands to hold the push in the flares tight as you go around and mark and drill. clean the area well under neath. and every season i took them off to clean underneath them because alot of gunk gets between them and the body.

I know the fronts should be easy what I am worried about is on the dually flares, and I thought I had heard a little heating was needed to clear the rear dually lights or if I am gonna need to sand on them or anything, I know I have seen them on other trucks like I said just don't know how they were done.

the only complaints I have ever heard was on people that had past body work from shops that looked factory but the flares needed some heat on those. I would think that they should be molded pretty well. have you tried calling Bushwacker

well the flares came in today looks like they shouldnt be to bad(knock on wood) they cover the daully flare light just a little but i dont think its going to be a huge problem, gonna get them all prepped and fitted and do paint in about a week or so, painter is having some foot surgery so its gonna put me behind a little bit, but other than the light being a little bit covered i think im going to be ok, they look great and i think will add a great look to the truck.
