bumper mod suggestions

The other night while in the grocery store my liscence plate was called requesting my presence at the front desk. I thought great, now what! A man had just backed out of his space across the isle and into the back of my truck. Good thing is that he didnt run and also that it was a little ranger that pretty much went under me and his tail light only scuffed and made a minor dent in my bumper. The damage is centered between the end of the bumper and the liscence plate (sorry no pics yet). I am trying to come up with some ideas to modify and add something to the bumper in this area to remove or cover the damaged area so that the money they are giving me outa pocket can go towards performance mods. I was considering backup lights flush mounted or something to that effect. Get those creative minds going and throw some ideas out here, pics welcome also!

My friend (gas truck) drilled a couple of holes in his and ran his tailpipes out the back through his bumper. Looked really cool but it was funny watching his pipes grow in length as they got hot. So make sure you take good measurements, both hot and cold before cutting the pipes. They would grow bout 1/2 inch to 1 inch in length.

Just make sure you are not running some Huge tip out the back afterwards like most due with a Diesel....

Come on guys I know theres gotta be some of you that have either done something or dreamt of a crazy idea! Got the check last night so Im ready to fab, not to mention the fact that I cant stand having a big dent in my truck.

Nuttymopar, thought of the exhaust but dont think that one huge pipe from a diesel would look to good.

You could get some diamand plate and coat it plack or leave it shiney and put it on the bumper. Leave 2" gap or so around the edge. Radius the corners, make it look all purty.
