bully dog torque plate

If you look underneith the intake elbow right behind the lines comming out of the injection pump there is a small egg-shaped cover. That is your AFC, there are four bolts that hold it down, one being a "tamper-proof screw". You might have to use a chisel to get the tamper-proof out. Once you take that housing off you can see your Fuel Plate, there are two screws that hold it in place, take it out and replace it with the new one from your Bullydog kit. Adjust it as far as you want forward but make sure the Governor Arm hits the bottom edge of the plate and begins to ride up that surface nice and smooth. If you don't have gauges be very careful when doing this though as egt's can get hot awful fast!
