Bully Dog fuel system

I am looking at the Bully Dog fuel system to throw on my truck. Mainly all it is is all the new hoses needed from the tank to the VP44 and the return lines. It also comes with a holly blue fuel pump and all the hardware. Doesn't sound to bad, I know a lot of you guys are running the holly blue so I'm thinking about getting it. And the price is pretty sweet too!!!

I thought about the FASS but I don't want to spend the money on that sucker, and for what I need I think the holly blue will work just fine.

Sounds like a pretty good system. Don't know why you'd need to change the return line but oh well. I'd say get it. Going on 2 years with my holley blue and even at 400hp I can only pull it down to 11psi.

I'm running the Bully Dog system and love it. It didn't come with a new return line, but all new fittings & hose to hook it up. i am running through my stock LP and get 22 psi idle and 15 psi WOT. Got it from Jegs great price too.

What does that system run price wise? I did a search on Jegs and didn't come up with anything but a nitrous injections kit by Bully Dog.

Go to Jegs......and scroll down the list on the left side and click on "TRUCK" and then Click on Dodge/Jeep.

And then scroll down and click on diesel performance components and scroll down to Bully Dog and it's the second item listed!!

Ok, saw it that time. I was just curious as to what it included.

BD Diesel also has a nice kit. It doesn't have all of the additional fuel lines (big line kit) as the Bully Dog and the other detriment is that it uses the Carter pump instead of the Holly Blue (well maybe on this point). The BD, it appears has nicer wiring harnesses that snap into factory connections and has a proprietary proprietary pressure switch that is supposed to guard against hard starting. Looks like both have pro's and con's. I personally have already bought the BD and am just dragging my feet on the install. I hope the additional inline Carter will help both Carter's live longer. The BD is supposed to support up to 600hp.

Looks like both are good options for the dollar as the BD kit is similarly priced to the Bully Dog......maybe $20 more for the BD although I didn't' see the BD kit on Jegs.

Hmmm I might have to look at that one and see what that's all about. Both sound like they'd be pretty nice.........

The Bully Dog kit comes with wiring but it is up to you to splice it in, i ran a relay off the stock LP.
This way the Holley gets full volts from the battery.
A plug and play would have been soooo much nicer though.

As long as the pump is being triggered off of the factory lift pump harness, whether it be relayed or not, and not getting a constant hot power when the key is on, you won't have any hard starting problems.
