you better know what you are doing if you want to oxy/acet weld thin pipe or tube, tig will require much less caution in your fit then a gas weld, you will have to play the shrinking root as you weld with gas, and for what it is worth any good pipe welder can make welds look as good as those gas welds with 6010 or wire, it just boils down to what you know and how much time you want to spend on it
