well it has come time to start on my BIG Edit DIESEL as it has been nicknamed any way here is the specs of what i am building


1981 crew cab 2wd long bed dually being converted to 6x6 cab has been gutted all custom (dash door panels etc..)

engine is a 1994 that needs a rebuild it is blowing oil 215,000 mile

trans will be a mercedes G56 six speed 4x4 with a gear vendors od and a 205 transfer case

front end is 1993 style with all chrome grill

but anyway big questions is

1994 engine is complete with turbo and pump all needs rebuilt

my goal is to build a high reving twin turbo p-pumped fire breathing smoke throwing torque monster and get good milage while i am at it
"yes i know got to keep my foot out of it to do that "



so what do i do to the engine


1 the block bore it ? yes where is a good place to get oversize pistons
2 the head fire ring? o-ring? valve springs/retainers?
3 the pump ??
4 the rods pistons crank rings etc.. ?? 215,000 miles on them
5 the turbos what makes a good towing twins set up
6 injectors POD???
7 oil i run lucas now ??

any and all advise is greatly appresiated

please include places to get the parts i need and poeple you recomend to do the work i have very good machine shops here local but none specilise in diesel engines
