there a guy who daily drives a 2001 Dodge Dakota localy with a twin turbo ISB 24V cummins motor that ran 11's in the local 1/4 mile track. Im not sure what else he has done to it but when you look at the engine when he shows it off the underhood looks near stock besides the twin turbos a massive like 6 inch exhaust and the batteries being relocaded to behind the driver seat.

Well since no one has told you what to do I will. This is just my opnion and I could be wrong but I am running 13.6 @ 98 right now and I think with practice (and more disregard for the safety of my tranny) I could be faster.

Minimum to get 13.0

Edge Drag Comp or similar
A bigger single turbo with 4 inch exhasut
Bigger Injectors - think Mach 4 EDM's or 150 HP
Tranny Upgrade with all billet shafts and stuff, vendor of your choice. Maybe new flex plate - ask your vendor.
Upgrade fuel system to FASS/RASP or similar, bigger lines etc.

Other things to help make it easier and make you faster...
MAD ECM
After market camshaft
Twin turbos - port and o-ring and stud head
Water/Meth injection
N20 if you want to be a druggie

I would guess if you did all that and practiced drag racing for a while you would be in the 12's

Good luck

With the kind of power you would need to run low 13s with a 5 speed, you would come close to breaking your input shaft at the launch with the NV 4500 trans. that doesn't mean you wouldn't have a really fast truck for smoking other trucks on the highway after you're already in motion. Like JR2 said about the billet shafts

On second thought, who cares. Go for 13s, and see what happens.

spend your first money on a good auto from one of the builers, and don't cheap out here, full billlet. then a big set of sticks, 150 plus hp or more, a good set of twins and a tst redline box. and if you want to keep the 5 speed you will need a dual disk and a 1 3/8 input up grade. but good luck making back to back runs. the auto is the best for a turbo motor, easy to build the boost off the line.

its not a 5 speed...its auto...and after some thought and taking to a bunch of people i think what i am gonna do is edge drag comp, fass fuel system, 5in straight pipe, 130 or 150 injectors, bigger turbo or twins but not sure yet...oh almost forgot i am just gonna replace the trans when it goes. am i on the right path here?

Bye bye trans (me too!!!)

I've got the comp in mine and you can definetly spin that tc if you want to ....but like you, i'm waiting for the trans to go completely and then get a stage V from ATS. I'd say it'll work alright. Enjoy the mods

I guess if you want to pay for a whole new tranny that is up to you. I belive a rebuild with billet will be cheaper than just getting an entire new tranny sent to you. Besides with a comp and 130 sticks your tranny will last about 10 seconds. Why put all that stuff in your truck and not be able to drive it.

Upgrade order:

tranny
sticks
FASS
Turbo
COMP
