Brown Truck Delivered Yesterday..?

Yep, for all who has wondered about the Dynatrac hub kit...? Well, it's superior. This kit has short style hubs. Unlike the traditional long hubs that look just a bit goofy. Just shy of 2 1/2 inches shorter than the conventional hubs. To my surprise they will only stick out past the factory hubcap 1/2 an inch with the Dynalocs. The hub is massive. The diameter is 4 1/2 inches where the locking hub mounts. For the rest of the kit it's of the highest quality. I upgraded to the Dynalocs in order to replace the warn locking hubs. I did this for the design and the low profile. Plan to install sometime this week.

I'll load pics as often as possible. I only have a film camera. When I have the film developed, they will also provide the pics on a disc. When I get the disc I can upload then. If I bought a digital camera the less I could spend on the toys. Ron

Did you get Dynatracs "free spinning kit" with new spindles/hubs etc to replace the stock with no locking hups.

Looks like its $1900 bucks

There is another kit out there too. I couldnt find my link, seems it was about $800-$900

I bought the complete free spin kit, including the manual hubs. The dynalocs are what locks the hubs to the spindles. I chose the dynalocs over the warn locks which lock the hubs to the spindles.

EMS Offroad also makes the kit. Their service and quality aren't up to what Dynatrac has to offer, according to many who have used them.

With that said, the next truck I pick up will get the EMS setup. I have experience with them, and will gladly be a repeat customer.

The price is 1895.00 for the kit with warn locking hubs. I upgraded to the new dynalocs which take the place of the warn. The upgrade is 329.00. I haven't seen anything close to the quality. There are not any kits out there for the newer trucks for 800 to 900 dollars that I've know of.

Gents, Sunday I will finish the passenger side. I did the drivers side a week or two ago. I did not buy the Dynatrac 35 spline axles do to them having a seal leaking problem with the passenger side. Dynatrac has stopped sales on the axle kit. I did order a one peice axle and seal for the late model 02's. The seal for the 02 is the same seal for the driver side of the 01. The axle is .020" of an inch larger than where the axle is turned to accept the seal. I do not see any reason this will be a problem. This seal will fit perfectly in the same location as the seal that was used with the two piece axle shaft and CAD system. I took pictures of parts and each step and will have the film developed some time this week. When I get the pics back I will post for all to see. Ron
