My guess is they aren't any worse than the dealer ones.
My last set cost me $70cdn at the dealer and I can guarantee I will try the ebay ones next time.

I got some off of Ebay. The quality is good. Shipping to Canada was expensive.

I’ve yet to snap mine but my neighbor has...twice! He puts entire "cubes" of concrete block and pavers in his with a loader. He's gotten them from both the dealer and Ebay, sorry I can't help since they’ve both snapped. I can't seem to figure out why he just doesn’t take it off first? Curiosity's got the best of me, what are you guy's doing to break yours? Only post if you are answering the question of where and how much you’re spending on replacement cables, I don't want to "highjack" this post.

Checkers,Schucks, and Kragen auto supply sells them for way lower price than the dealer. I think around $20.00 or less.

I don't like to wait until they break. That could be painful. I replace them when the plastic cracks and rust starts coming out. That's close enough for me.

I recently dropped a railroad tie on my tailgate and one of the cables broke. Maybe I'll give the AutoZone ones a shot.
