Brighter replacement headlight bulbs?
Are there any out there for a '03? If so, are they safe to use without blowing fuses or melting anything?
I live way out in the country where there are no street lights to be found for 15 miles and nighttime driving happens everyday. The highbeams are ok but not good enough IMO. the lowbeams are good for like 20ft in front, pathetic.
I just need something to light the road up better.. not looking to blind people or tick them off. What about adjusting the headlights? how would I go about doing that?

I was at local Placerville, Wally World yesterday. They have some superbright replacement bulbs that fit the 03. You might want to check out the replacement bulbs. Another possibility is installing a set of driving lamps. Both of these options would not overload circuits if properly innstalled.

I have the Sylvania Silver Stars (9004ST) on my '02. Not sure if they make a set for the '03s. I paid about $40 for the set and probably would not put them in again. I have noticed no improvement in visibility for me while night driving. The only thing I notice, is that if you look at them from outside the truck, they look very white (not blue).<br>Just my .02c

Re:Brighter replacement headlight bulbs?
although the factory low beam is only about 45watts the poor light quality is probably due to the reflector design. ur best bet would be to install a set of quality aftermarket light. I believe the factory hole will fit a 6 inch lamp. PIAA make nice stuff, pricey. Hella is also good and a little less than the PIAA's. my next set of light will be from Light Force a set is less than the PIAA's and about the same as Hella.
