Boost Gauge Sticking

Got a new boost gauge 0-60lbs. It will not move and then jump up past 10 and on the way down it hangs at 9. My first 35lb gauge I had to swap out because it wouldnt go down past 5. Is this a trend with autometer or is there a break in period I am unaware of. Had to order it so a return will be a pain in the rear. I did not take any of the old connections off the truck just swapped the old with the new. The old guage worked perfectly. Thanks.

There is no break-in period for boost gauges. It should operate correctly from the box.

Well it is definately sticking. When it comes back down and hangs around 10, if I tap it it will go back to 0. DANG! I hate dealing with junk!

Boast guage

Well I don't use any autometer guages at all the first time I walked in to look at guage I about had a heart attack over the prices. So I started looking around on the net and found this company that has gauges at a very good price. My boost gauge will pick up on a 1 lb rise in pressure now it only goes to thirty but they make them that go to 60 psi I just haven't ponied the money for the new turbo yet. It will run you about $40 with shipping my egt was about $50 and it came with the thermocouple also. They are on ebay there store is EVIL AUTO STYLES they carry every gauge that you could need for about half the price if not more off. I have not had one bit of a problem out of the either.
