boost gauge sender

I know I could probably do a search and come up with 42 pages to read but...

Any way, on a 98 24 valve, where are you guys tapping in for a boost gauge reading. It looks like the air horn could be drilled and tapped without too much trouble. Is that a good place to get a true reading?

Thanks,

Steve.

Yes the air horn is one of the good places to get a boost reading from.........Pete

P.S. put it on the back side to hide it a little....

On the 24 Valve the boost pressure port is a 3/4'' pipe plug requiring a 1/2'' square drive ratchet extension for removal and is located on the side of the intake plenum rearward of the fuel filter bracket. You'll need a bushing to reduce it to 1/8'' for your gauge line.

Thanks. Someone told me it was on the head somewhere but now I know where to go.

Thank you much.

Steve.
