The boost elbow will help. I would imagine that the power puck has a boost fooler built into its software. I've used and Edge easy and I'm now using a Van Aken, they both have boost foolers built into the software. Good luck.

His truck is a 99.

I'm not sure if the power puck does boost fooling or not. So first off find out if it does or does not. Once you know that, than you can decide on what you need to help out the extra fuel. In both cases though, with the added fuel..the little extra boost will help out with power. If the puck does boost fooling all you need is the elbow. If the puck doesn't fool, then you will need both a fooler and elbow.

being a 99 vp I cant stress enough in getting a good lift pump and fuel psi guage, you dont want to run that vp pump dry $$$$

Yes! Make sure you have gauges. I went through three lift pumps!!! I had gauges, I saw that my fuel pressure was failing and replaced the pump before any damage was done to my VP44. I now have An AirDog 150. LP problem is gone.... I'm still on my original VP44. Knock on wood..

Good luck
