x-hook or boost elbow? and where can i buy them at? i did a serch but couldnt find eather

 

Plenty on ebay. Most boxes come with boost elbows, didn't quad send you one?

 

no didnt get one with my box, heard they do alot for the truck, ill check ebay.

 

your can make the elbow from fittings and what not from a local hardware store. search boost elbow you should find alot on them. and as far as a j-hook i am clueless when it comes to those.

What will a boost elbow do for a stock truck? Or a truck with out a fueling box.

 

It just slows the rate at which the wastegate opens. No real benefit on a stock truck, but the extra air might help keep egts cooler with a box.

The j hook is the equivalent solution for guys with a hy35 off a 01-02 auto. Does the same basic function- keeps the wastegate from opening until later.
