Rod at wildcatdiesel.com will point you in the right direction and will not try to sell you what you do not need.

Decide which line of gauges you like then proceed. EGT, Boost, Fuel Pressure are the three you need to look at getting.

Some people like digital, some people like analog, its a matter of choice.

Re:The Bomb Bug has dun bit...

sweet deal - I'm thinking the analog will be sufficent - and along the lines of EGT, boost and fuel pressure were what I was after - but is there anything else - without overdoing it of course

Re:The Bomb Bug has dun bit...

If I read you sig correctly (manual 5 sp.), those three should pretty well cover it for you. If you have an automatic, then a trans temp guage would be advised if doing any towing at all.
Yea, I have a 5 speed manual
I was just reading your sig. you might want to do some digging about fueling boxes. Not too long ago, the bullydog torque dog was a re-badged diablo power puck. then I heard BD went to Edge and that the TD was now an Edge box. But my point is that if the bomb bug has bitten you should consider the fueling box that will satisfy that bite. the power puck may not satisfy you long term! Anyway, there are many out there to choose from and a few really good ones. You should discuss that with Rod too ;D

Re:The Bomb Bug has dun bit...

I am switching to digital gauges, they are easier to read and record the low and high to be checked at a later time. Maybe I am getting too old to read the analog gauges. I suggest start with digital and there will be no need to change later on.
Bruce

Re:The Bomb Bug has dun bit...

Good deal - keep'em comming.

As far as the post on the TorqueDog - If there is any one person to bag on them - then I will invite you to drive my 100% stock truck with out one - then with one. The difference is comparable to frankenstin coming to life. I seriously needed to be held after gettin on the throttle in 2nd gear...

Basically my turbo usually spools and kicks in at around 2200rpm (or where I get the benefit from it) With the TD started spooling at no more than 1700. The difference - WOOOOOOWIIE! I am sold, and won't be told otherwise.

My rig is a daily driver, to have that extra power at my disposal from such a simple little ole box... Takes my breath away...
